My guess is that it was some sort of rare skin cancer. There seems to be an absence of hair at the top of her scalp, suggesting hair loss from chemotherapy.

Even if there is nothing intelligible in the static, the concept alone is brilliantly terrifying in itself. Your own mind is screwing with you that much, that it projects blocked out memories through cryptic radio static. Awesome.

Um, I've never been more haunted or scared by anything in all my life. I played this around the time when it first came out. I was too young to even comprehend what I was even watching, I just knew whatever it was, it disturbed me deeply haha. In a way, it made me first realize my own mortality.

I think he's speaking strictly in terms of lighting and color, not so much story and emotional content. Some of the lighting does to me, but more specifically the oil drums and wooden posts cluttering the alleys made me think of South Vale in Silent Hill 2, though not much beyond that. The low, fla...

It wasn't any sort of wishful thinking. I hope it tries to be the furthest thing from Silent Hill 2 as possible, but I was just speculating on a similar visual style.

From the screenshots of the trailer, it really seems like they're going to accentuate the "survival horror" aspect to Silent Hill. I get this from the damaged character models of Murphy. He seems to be in a pretty pitiful and bloody state, stumbling around the road.

I don't know if it was just for me, or not, but seeing the trailer gave me flashbacks to the opening video of Silent Hill 2, of James caring Mary's body through the prison. I guess it just might be the way the developers chose to present the lighting style. Thoughts?

Haha I think if any developers resulted to that idea, it'd be a sad day for the Silent Hill universe.

No? Okay, well in all seriousness, I would not like to see pyramid head in any other games. If they were to do anything else with nurses, it'd be refreshing to see an entirely different take on them. I'm interested to see what the tall figure in the trailer is actually going to look like.

Personally, I think implementing giant soap on a rope monsters is in order.

The game looks amazing, we'll have to see when it come out though.

Suppose I'll wait to see what I actually think when the game comes out. I must say though I like a lot of the new monster models, and the bosses don't look half bad either (from what I seen).
