Skip to around 6min. The player doesn't dodge all too that well (practically they just spam it) but you should definitely time your dodge, then RUN UP to the arm and hit it, not just start swinging at it from a distance.. like the player in the video. Gah.

I like how people take this topic+OP as if he said Homecoming was better than SH2. We're just talking about the things the one did better than the other. Let me remind everyone that I love SH2. Thinking back to the games, I think (a very necessary phrase around these parts o' internet) Homecoming di...

I would have liked the combat to have been more like Siren if truth be told. I couldn't agree more with you here. It would have been much much better. Silent Hill's combat was never like Siren. Not meaning to sound rude but wasn't that their point? Seriously it's the camera work in Homecoming that ...

i don't know i've just never played any buggy games on the ps3... Maybe you've played buggy games but you haven't just noticed it. I play so many different games on different consoles that I'm bound to notice the differences on PS3 which are almost always negative in gameplay mechanic due to the si...

Uh no just...no since when have games been known to be buggy on ps3 :? Always. I've played many multiplatform-games and read enough reviews and comparisons (360 to PS3) to know that this is true, not to mention the research I've done on PS3's technical side and the opinions of professional game dev...

Larson, please be patient. I'll address your points in the near future. It will take ages to write it out and I don't know about you but I have a proper job. I’ll go over them briefly I didn't know it takes a week for you to write a clarifying post. In brief, the combat is poor. When you learn ho...

where did I put it's a fact it failed V I think the fact that Pyramid head (Sorry, Boogeyman) is in SH:HH shows a clear lack of understanding of Silent Hill on DH's part. when people start going on about SH:HH been better than SH:2 it's just like.....come on...really? If you look at the SH:HH forum...

Maybe we need to have a jam session Lol. I cant play bass at all XP Ah, but the best help for that is practice. I don't use tabs (I didn't find any), but the bass lines are pretty easy to figure out, especially in Theme of Laura and Love Psalm. They're not too complicated. I could send you (or anyo...

Are you not talking about the same team then? Also, how was SH5 a mess, could you elaborate?ginjajacob wrote:It is nice to see Double Helix have a high level of consistancy to their work.

I wonder what the point of this topic is since I think it has already been covered that if people want Double Helix to try another SH-game. Is this to only bash Double Helix? I dunno, I liked Earthworm Jims, MDK, Matrix: The Path Of Neo (that was epic) and Homecoming too. Who knows, maybe they learn...
