Silent Hill has always been a widely ported series (with the exception of SH1, but that's what piracy is for ;p ).
Do you guys think that a PC port oh SHV is an eventual possibility? Because I lack a PS3, but I've got a kickass gaming rig.

How would I go about doing this?

It doesn't have a Dolby option, just Stereo and mono.
And I know I shouldn't double-post, it's just a cry for attention xP

Hey, I've got a technical problem here - 5.1 surround sound won't work on SH3 (PC copy). I have a 5.1 card, and all the speakers are hooked up correctly (I'm listening to an mp3 in surround right now). In the game's settings, I set audio to Stereo. That is a step above monoaural, if I'm not mistaken...

Keep in mind guys, he can't build the tools we need if he keeps worrying about your plot ideas. Like I said, the software to do this needs to be completed first. We can split into little Dev teams after that point.

Yeah, I'm an athiest too (but holy crap guys, don't turn this thread into the Crusades!), but I'm not even interested in SH in a spiritual way. It's just oddly beautiful.

If I were you, I would figure out what kind of encoding SH1 uses, and find a paralell cracked ps1 game that uses the same encoding.
