Silent Hill Heaven

Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere!

The perennial sense of dread that grips you throughout the entire teaser was done in a phenomenal way. It's what I found most lacking in the new Silent Hill games.

This demo was... genuinely scary. REALLY scary. :shock: I almost wanted to stop playing it because I was so unnerved. Gosh.. I feel rather silly writing this; but I'm just overjoyed. I thought Silent Hill was over. I thought the days where I felt genuinely scared by a horror game were over. But nope...

Part 6 and 10 of Silent Hill 3 has got to be the funniest thing I've ever seen! xDDD

Absolutely nothing.

Simply because it was too short and I felt no emotional connection to any character whatsoever.

The twist ending itself was brilliant, though.

The game must be originally disturbing for it to really scare me anymore.

I sure hell expect to be creeped out, though!

Murphy would be pulled into someone else's mindscape, completely unintentionally on this other person's part. Interesting, but how about the other way around? I always loved the idea of a blind secondary character. Someone who's been blind sine childhood; yet he/she can actually SEE parts of Murphy...

Not really familiar with Dexter or Daniel Licht, but the soundtrack for "Blood theme" was simply stunning! :shock: I can easily imagine his work fitting perfectly with the world of Silent Hill in general. About Mary: on her facebook she also said shes working on "new stuff" with ...

That's a little bit harsh, don't you think?

Personally I adore her voice, and I really wish she would come back in the future, but honestly? I don't think the games will be harmed in any way if she never did.

When it comes to Akira Yamaoka? it's debatable at best.

Huh, I actually liked it a lot. :) Re-watching it just now, I think I'm a little more interested to know more about the secondary characters than to know more about Murphy himself... IDK why. :? Trailers can be deceiving sometimes, especially the first ones, so I can't really make any judgment about...

I'm hoping that Murphy turns out to be a very disturbed individual.

That's a given.

I hope the reason that made him "very disturbed" is a little more original than: (Ho, shit! I kinda killed someone! ).
