According to this podcast Konami didn't change the release date on Amazon.com, Amazon did.

Just looked at Bestbuy's website and they have Downpour's release date as 1/15/2012 and the HD Collection as 12/1/2011.

The game looks 95% like a finished product. They are just tweaking and fixing bugs and glitches now. I don't see how that's going to take 6 months to complete.

I saw this on facebook this morning and I think it's great! Keeping the original voice overs would be great, but now that everyone is playing nice...maybe they will rerecord the original actors? Either way is fine with me, as long as they trash that new crap.

I agree, within the game each ending is logical. Yesterday, for some reason, I was thinking in a more "real world" situation.

I know there isn't a canonical ending. I was just voicing my opinion in the conversion I was having with AITT that was on topic.

You make a good point. I'll have to think about that. that I've really never given much thought into the correct ending of Silent Hill 2. I guess because I never really thought there was one.
