Re: Which ending do you prefer?

Personally, I like the Good+ ending the most. Mainly because it makes Harry look awesome - he doesn't just march into Hell for the sake of his seven year old, he hangs around to help other people as well. Admittedly, one of those people is a complete scumbag who probably should have been killed, and...

Re: Alchemilla Hospital 3D Model (G.Sketchup + Blender) TEST

^ Those pictures look amazing. I tried to run the .exe, but it glitched badly. Namely it had the flashlight randomly deciding which direction it wanted to go. Might be because I was using Wine to run it on linux, though from what I did see, you've done an amazing job Giromancy. thanks and try to ru...

The SH Champion wrote:Is a 15 good or bad?
As Clamz already said, it's part of our rating system. 15 means only suitable for those over 15. For contrast, Silent Hill's 2, 3, Origins & Shattered Memories got 15 ratings. Silent Hill 4 & Homecoming both got the highest rating, 18.

Re: Can you look back at Psych tests?

Woohoo! I beat Homecoming so now I'm on to Shattered Memories. So like the title says. Is there any way you can look back, at any point in the game, to answers you give in the psych evaluations? I had started the game a long time ago and quit because it was a borrowed copy, I hadn't gotten very far...

About time too. Thankfully, I still have the original disc, but it'll be great for everyone to be able to play it.

Re: Interview with Troy Baker - The new James Sunderland

Thanks for that PoemOfTheLastMoment. Having watched both videos and read the comments on the first link, I'm kinda torn. Some of Mary's arguments were valid (the "don't send us death threats" one in particular, can't believe anyone would get so hyped up about a game that they'd threaten to...

Err, PoemOfTheLastMoment, the second link you put in is no longer working, it just says the user removed the video. Got an alternate source?

Re: Your favorite SHSM Easter Eggs?

1) The art room having different pictures of the original SH1 version of Harry Mason.

2) In some playthroughs, Lisa Garland crashes an ambulance into the reception of Alchemilla Hospital (possible reference to the rumoured [and false] ambulance ending.)

Re: NEXT FEAR

^That's 'cause every Next Fear bumps the difficulty up 'til you end up playing on Hard mode. Example, if you completed the game on Easy mode, the Next Fear would set the difficulty to Normal mode. Complete on Normal, Next Fear = Hard Mode. Complete on Hard mode, Next Fear = Hard Mode.

^I never noticed it before, but I just had a look at the scene in question and I think I agree with you, Aerith. Those bushes do look like they've grown out from when Rose & Sharon/Alessa arrive home and Chris opens the door. Good theory by the way.

Re: I'm in need of opinions...

I've found a site to download all of the Silent Hill comics up to Past Life. I've always been meaning to try reading them (as I am a comic lover), but I've never gotten around to it. I would go out and try to buy the books, but I don't have any money or time right now. What I would like to know fro...

Re: Your FAVORITE Silent Hill 3 memories

Like Aerith and VenusDoom, my favourite memories involve the unlimited machine gun. After unlocking it, it would be the only weapon I'd use. I'd just hold down the trigger and keep it on any visible enemies until they stopped moving.

That and the ending.

Re: Dark Alessa?

^That, or they go the Shattered Memories/2/Homecoming route and: Have Rose having died in the Otherworld and what we see in the new film be her ghost. And the reason she hasn't aged? Maybe Alessa (from the film) did the same thing to Rose that Alessa (from the game) did to Lisa. Maybe film!Alessa br...

Re: How did you feel when the game ended?

There's a quicker way, in full editor, highlight the section of text that is a quote in your post, then press the quote button (it's at the top, between the underline and Code buttons). It puts the necessary tags around the quote so that it's recognised as a quote and treated accordingly when it com...

Re: Kaufmann, Out of Character

There is a bit of a difference in how obvious it is that he is evil in both games. In 1, we only got to see how angry he could get once and he appeared like a cold, calculating person the rest of the time. He was really understated too, 1's Kaufmann was subtle with the villainy. 0's Kaufmann was not...

Re: 5th Anniversary

It's a good video game adaptation, but would it really be able to stand on its own two feet if it had nothing to do whatsoever with the Silent Hill franchise? Probably not. It seems good since Hollywood likes to shovel out crap and rename it a video game adaptation before adding as much crap as poss...
