This does not look bad, surprisingly, the first movie annoyed me quite a bit to say the least..
But why the hell is Vincent some some school punk?
Other than that, I'll probably go to the cinema to watch it for once.

Re: What's up with Eddie's clothes?
I think Eddie represents the side of James that simply wants to accept what he has done. Though, when Eddie is killed, James got a new "Trauma" showing us that James is not like him at all. So that part of him gets "squashed" by guilt and regret, etc. This theory of mine falls fl...

God, how could i forget TLJ?
And I forgot other adventure games such as the Broken Sword series, also Grey Matter!
Yeah Fahrenheit seems like they smoked something when they were halfway through the development process.

Well, in that case I should have mentioned Dragon Age II.... Which managed it.. How can a game be ruined so badly? This does'nt really count because the story was a freaking Saturday morning cartoon... Although... "I had to go through sessions where I stare at myself in the mirror and cry."...

Re: This is one of the few games that made me legitimately s
Games never got me to cry, however there were moments in games that almost achieved it. -The ending letter and The elevator scenes in SH2. -A certain moment in Heavy rain, past the beggining. -A romance ending in Baldur's Gate 2. -The ending of Planescape: Torment, this one simply saddened me, not t...

I don't think so... Unless I got split-personality disorder or something... Which is a possibility... Jokes aside, I've been a member here for quite a time. ^So a guy saying that he's impressed with the work that went into creating the graphics, specifically with regards to the detailed reflections,...

Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary! I find that story & lore immerse me most, I find graphics to be a simple representation unless it's rich and detailed, in which case that makes it art. I've been playing older games a lot recenlty, and it seems that they are most powerful, giving you more r...

You should play Fahrenheit.
The twist was'nt stupid, though i gotta say the idea with a GT Cobra is hilarious.

Re: 10 Best Written Video Games
I understood your point, thing is, I dont really see it as a flaw.
it's worth being kept in the dark to get such a twist into your face.
It could have been a last moment thought, when the player had no control over the character.
I really need to replay the game again, whenever I'm near a PS3.

Re: 10 Best Written Video Games
I don't like the Heavy Rain story largely because I couldn't bring myself to give a damn about Ethan's son, no matter how much the game demanded that I care. However, what makes Heavy Rain fail as a story is the plot twist. At that point, the story breaks its internal rules (both gameplay and narra...

I would not mind all the analysis crap, but would like some sort of combat and more exploration.

I have to say rebirth, it inspires hope, and leaves you hanging.
Basically let's the player think for themselves, does ressurection really work or is it simple, empty hope?

Re: 10 Best Written Video Games
Well the games I believe should have at least made it into the list... -Heavy Rain -Alpha Protocol (while buggy, the writing was great) -Planescape: Torment. -Baldur's Gate 2 SoA + ToB -Dragon Age: Origins -Metal Gear Solid 1 or 3. I do agree with Fahrenheit in a way... The second half of that game....
