I like the theory but i've always believed that Angela was well on her way by the time we meet her. I believe that when we meet her again on the stairs we are seeing her "bad ending"

I missed the fog also. I think the glass underworld would be awesome.

Where would Maria and James go I was under the impression that they couldn't leave.

Possibly the Maria construct James created still stuck in the town trying to collect more of "her" memories. At this point all I'm saying is the theory is not impossible. Also it could just be a new voice actor.

I never noticed anywhere in the game it saying that the woman behind the door is the same woman the notes refer to. The notes may just be setting up a reason for the mayor to be in the hotel. I still like the Mary theory. It could also be Maria which would explane why she is in silent hill.

I just finished about a month ago. It was hell getting a copy. I had already beaten 2 - 4 and was playing origins.

The reapers list was a kick in the nuts. I tried full names, first names, last names, oldest to youngest, youngest to oldest. Had to look it up

Because it is a manifestation of James's dark side I would assume it is a distorted or ugly version of james's face. We never see it so it doesn't ruin the story. Never seeing it also allows us to have our own interpretation of things.

I always thought the apartments were represented James's mind. Some parts are accessable (spelling) while others aren't. Monsters lurking in the halls. It just seems to me like the inside of his head.
