BUMP So what's the easiest way to get to Silent Hill starting from scratch? Should I walk into a game store at the mall and ask to buy a PS1, and maybe they'd have the orginal disc? I presume there's a memory card involved. Or should I jump up to PS3 and buy some sort of modern version that changed...

I would accept a remake if they allowed us to kill the damn ghosts and have good weapons and a good storage system. Otherwise no!

I agree with Soulless. Vatra did a great job. I just wish the game wouldn't stop so much when I try to run... it's like the console can't handle the graphics, which is weird.

To be honest I'm not finding the game scary (scary enough to make me do what someone in this thread was saying "I don't want to open that door").
But I agree with Mike... the atmosphere is fantastic and when the rain and thunder starts... I believe the effect is quite creepy.

I read this at GameFaqs: When I picked up the 'Healing' trinket, enemies would NOT come near me. In fact, I could run up to them and they wouldn't even attack!
