Simple answer: No, Silent Hill 4 is. Silent Hill 3 did take some time to get used to the vibe, however. I don't know if it was just for me or if everyone experienced that. It's just a lot different from the first two games. Not a bad thing, but I wouldn't call it true to the series, considering SH1 ...

Ok, does it really matter if it is or isn't? My point is, some people get fooled too easy and make a big issue out of it.

Most of SH3 still remains pretty vivid, I think it takes the cake for being the most disturbing. Ah yes, I forgot to add the Lakeview Hotel. There's something about it after you fight the PH's, and it was flooded and whatnot, when you had to put your weapons on the shelf and go down the elevator. It seemed really depressing, everything was monotone, really sad.

Well, I pretty much liked them all except for the apartments. It's not so much that
it's scary, but it gets to be a pain in the ass.

One of my favorite places is the prison and the Labyrinth, the Prison for its utter
